Lucknow: Commissioner Relief Uttar Pradesh Ranvir Prasad on Monday informed that 41 people died of attacking lightning in 16 districts in the state on Sunday night.
“In accordance with the information available, 41 people have died of lightning strikes in 16 districts in the state and 30 people injured.
Recording this incident, RS 4 Lakhs Ex-Gratia each will be given to the deceased relatives,” Prasad told Ani.
“All those who are injured will get the right medical treatment.
In addition, 250 animals have also lost their lives and 20 have been injured”, said Prasad.
Today, lightning crashes into the part of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
The prime minister was complained about loss of lives and damage due to lightning in the Uttar Pradesh section.
An ex-Gratia RS 2 Lakh each of the PMNRF will be given to the next relatives of the deceased and RS 50,000 will be given to the injured, telling a statement by the current Prime Minister’s office.
Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday revealed the deepest condolences for the death of at least 16 people because of the lightning strike in several Rajasthan districts.
“Many people lost their lives because of lightning in some areas in Rajasthan.
Very sad by the death of people.
I revealed my deepest condolences to families who died: PM @Narendramodi,” said the Prime Minister’s office (PMO) in A tweet.
Earlier on Sunday, Chief Minister Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot announced Ex-Gratia Each Rs 5 Lakh each of their relatives who lost their lives due to a lightning strike in the state.
He also ordered compensation for injured.
Gehlot previously revealed the deepest condolences to their families who lost their lives due to lightning in Kota Kota, Dholpur, Jhalawar, Jaipur, and Baran.
Meanwhile, Police Commissioner Jaipur, Anand Srivastava said that 29 people were saved from the Fort Amer area after lightning hit them.
Also, according to the PMO statement today, “sad by losing life because of lightning in the Madhya Pradesh.
The state government will provide all possible assistance to affected.
From PMNRF, RS 2 Lakh will be given to the next KIN from the deceased and RS 50,000 will be given to injured.
