42% of the minister in the Union Cabinet Revamped has stated criminal cases against them: ADR report

New Delhi: Of the 78 ministers in the Union Cabinet, 42% have stated criminal cases against them with four cases related to murder efforts, according to a report by the Association of Polling Groups for Democratic Reform (ADR).
A total of 15 new cabinet ministers and 28 State ministers were appointed on Wednesday, taking the power of the Ministers to 78.
Of all the ministers analyzed, 33 (42 percent) had stated criminal cases against themselves, the association said for Democratic reform reported quoting Their poll statement.
About 24 or 31 percent of the ministers have declared serious criminal cases including cases related to murder, efforts to kill, robbery, etc.

At the age of 35, he was also the youngest minister in the cabinet.
Four ministers have stated cases related to the murder (IPC part-307).
They are – John Barla, Pramanik, Pankaj Choudhary and V Muraleedharan from the ministers analyzed, 70 (90 percent) are crorepatis and average assets per minister is Rs 16.24 Crore.
Four ministers have declared assets worth more than Rs 50 Crore.
They are Jyotiraditya Scindia, Piyush Goyal, Narayan Tatu Rane and Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
