NOIDA: Almost two months after the current academic session started, around 42,000 students from the Uttar Pradesh board are still waiting for their final class 10 and 12 reports, officials have said.
Noida and Greater Noida together have around one lakh students enrolled with 153 schools affiliated to the state board and this time, all children were sent to the next class and no board exams were held.
Most children have already started attending online classes in the current academic session.
“Students of all classes were automatically promoted to the next class.
For children in classes 10 and 12, the government is still weighing its decision and it is likely to come up with a directive soon,” district inspector of schools (DIOS), Gautam Budh Nagar, Dharam Vir Singh, said.
“Online classes are on and we hope that the students will get their reports soon.
The evaluation process will most likely be based on a child’s existing academic records,” Singh added.
