Jaipur: A total of 43 candidates were abandoned in a commotion for the general elections to be held in the city of Nine Regency Rajasthan, officials said Monday.
Voting will be held on July 26 and their calculations on July 28.
As many as 60 candidates have submitted 67 nominated papers for the general elections to be held in 18 16 cities in nine districts.
After paper supervision and withdrawal of nominations, 43 candidates were abandoned in a commotion, while someone had been chosen without removing, Chitra Gupta said, Secretary of the State Election Commission.
