Coimbatore: Central of all women’s police on Saturday arrested a 43-year-old man for raping and impregnating a younger 12-year-old daughter.
The little girl lived in a rented house with her father and mother, a police officer said.
His uncle lived with his wife and his 19-year-old son on the ground floor of the house.
He raped the girl nine months ago and threatened him with a terrible consequence if he revealed the incident to anyone.
Two days ago, the girl complained of stomach pain and her parents took her to a private hospital, where the doctor confirmed that she was eight months pregnant.
Parents submit a complaint with police all central women, who registered a case against a 43-year-old man underneath 376 (iii), 560 (ii) from the Indian criminal code and section 5 (l) (j) (II) read with 6 child protection -The child of sexual offenders, 2012.
