Police Chunchupalli from Bhadradri District Kothagudem has intercepted two DCM vans in the city of Kothagudem on Tuesday night.
The police intercepted two vans with the registration number of Telangana and Haryana in Brundavanam in Kothagudem.
From the first van, the police arrested K Venkatesh, 45, from Jagadgirigutta and K Subhash, 33, from Bidar, which carried 2562 kilograms of marijuana at the escape instructions to Hyderabad.
From the second van, the police were arrested by Kafeez, 25, from Bharatpur in Rajasthan and Imran Khan, 41, from Faridabad in Haryana for trying to carry 1090 kilos of marijuana from Andhra Pradesh to Haryana for escape instructions, Arshad Khan.
Collect, from two Van DCM, the police won 3653 kilograms of marijuana packed in sacks and the smuggled value confiscated was Rs 7.3 Crore.
“The accusation admitted that they bought marijuana from the unknown people in the Chintoor Agency area in Andhra Pradesh,” said Bhadradri Kothagudem SP Sunil Dutt.
In a similar development, the police Khammam Rural along with the Dehuths task force conducted a vehicle check on Wednesday morning at Koti Dhabha near the Yedulapuram X Roads near Khammam City and intercepted three four-wheeled.
Seven people traveling in three vehicles were arrested after police found packages of marijuana in the vehicle.
The police won 146 packages of marijuana weighing 730 kilos of adhesives in three vehicles and arrested seven defendants, Ashu Miyan, 25, Mohammed Asif, 35, Khan Anish, 20, MD Qureishi, 33, 33, all the natives of Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh and Maloth Pavan Kumar, 25, a driver of Kothagudem.
The marijuana value confiscated is Rs 1.09 Crore.
According to Commissioner of Police Khammam Wisnu S Warrier, the vendor of Aligarh has sold electronic goods and clothing while living in the Sricity Khammam area.
They recently hatched plans to buy marijuana from suppliers on Chintapalli, Visakhapatnam and transport it to Uttar Pradesh.
