Washington: Pentagon during the Senate Session on Tuesday said there were still 439 Americans who were trapped in Afghanistan and the US came into contact with most of them, said a media report.
Colin Kahl, the US underestimated the defense, said that officials touched with 363 Americans in Afghanistan and added that only 176 of those who were ready and wanted to leave the country, Khaama Press reported.
Nearly 243 of those trapped in Afghanistan also did not want to leave Afghanistan or not ready to leave the country, Kahl said, adding that those who want to go will be taken in any way.
