Chennai: Nearly 450 Real Estate Agents have registered with the Tamil Nadu Real Estate Supervisory Authority (Terna) until August 19 this year.
Data is available with the real estate regulatory portal states that the majority of real estate agents, who have registered with Tnrera, are under the individual category, while some have registered as companies.
In accordance with Tamil Nadu Nadu Regulations (Regulations and Development), 2017, all registered real estate agents must maintain account books, notes and documents under the provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
