VADODARA: Bearing in mind, federal education plan’s (NEP) push value-addition, many faculties in MS University are presenting post-secondary classes or certification courses from the year onwards.
As many as 46 new classes will be provided by different faculties.
Of these, 38 are value-added classes while eight are all certification courses.
College of Social Work for example has chosen to provide 5-year incorporated master programme (a double degree), whilst College of Performing Arts will provide a certification course on’facets of abhinaya in Indian classical dance types’.
Faculties like Journalism and school studies, management and pharmacy studies have opted to provide three classes each.
College of Family and Community Sciences also will provide various classes as many as 16.
The classes incorporate those on short movie manufacturing, vaastu shastra, kitchen gardening, needle artwork as well as one on intimate dating for 21st century.
College of Science will soon be providing greatest 19 classes such as PG degree in industrial chemistry and renewable technology that will be provided with a business partner.
