46 percent of covid vaccine doses are given to women: government

New Delhi: On July 16, 46 percent of the total number of covid-19 vaccine doses were given to women, which were proportional to the population of the country (48 percent), the government found parliament on Tuesday.
In a written answer to the question at Rajya Sabha, Minister of State Health Bharati Pravin Pawar said that one reason for a little gap in the scope of female vaccines is that at the beginning of drive vaccination, pregnancy and lactation are contraindicated for inoculation, so that women hold the childhood age qualify for it.
Describe the steps taken by the government to motivate women to advance for vaccination, said pawar based on reviews of available scientific evidence and consensus of stakeholders, the Ministry of Health approved the vaccination of lactate women on May 19 and pregnant women on July 2, estimated will increase the amount of vaccination among women.
Furthermore, countries have been completed with detailed guides about preparing counseling and vaccination plans for pregnant women.
The communication strategy already exists, which is being carried out throughout the state and the United States with a focus on maintaining vaccine trust, the Minister said.
