New Delhi: 46 Shop Owners in Sarojini Market Nagar issued a notification for violations of Norma Covid on Thursday.
An official from the HR office in Vasant Vihar said that despite repeated warnings, some traders did not take the situation seriously and constantly violated Covid norms.
“We have issued orders to 46 stores to keep their shops closed for two days.
There are violations such as not wearing masks, there is no social distance and encroachment in the public space so that the lives of others,” the official said.
Orders issued include 18 shops in the main market, 15 in Sabzi Bath and 13 in Pasar Babu.
The association of the merchant concerned has also been given a notification of shows about why penals are not carried out on violations.
The Sarojini Nagar market consists of the main market with 200 stores, Pasar Babu with 120 mini stores, Sarojini Nagar Mini-Market with 32 shops, street vendors of Thareja with 104 outlets, 304 vendors who experience relief from the High Court, 65 vegetable outlets and 26 rooms for Shoe shoes and other professionals.
