Ranchi / Sindri: A total of 46,000 ration card holders have registered to take advantage of the new government subsidy gasoline scheme which will be launched by the Head of the Head of Hemant Soren from Dumka during the Republican Day celebration on Wednesday.

The state government says almost 20 lakh ration card holders who have two wheels will be borne in the scheme, which will provide RS 25 subsidies for one liter of gasoline or a maximum RS 250 per vehicle owner who has purchased fuel from the pump with market rates.
Dhanbad DSO Bhogendra Thakur said there were 5.2 lakh ration card holders in the district of 4.34 lakh had a red and yellow card.
About 5.72 lakh bikes are registered throughout the district.
“The numbers can be less because many beneficiaries have no bicycle,” said Thakur.
Nearly 1,000 applications are rejected due to incompatibility in the names of owners and registration numbers.
Present, beneficiaries will be eligible for the monthly subsidy of Rs 250 for 10 liters of gasoline, which will be credited to their bank account through direct benefits through direct transfer advantages.
The Jharkhand government has estimated the monthly cost of Rs 50 Crore for the scheme.
