Agra: More than 48 hours after the Supreme Court gave the “immediate guarantee” to 13 inmates nested in the center of Agra’s central prison who spent between 14 and 20 years in prison even though teenagers during crime, inmates have not run.

Prison Authority is awaiting a court order delivered by Post India.
“We cannot release detainees on the guarantee until we accept copies of certified SC orders.
We have completed all the formality at our end and will let them go as soon as we get orders,” V K Singh, senior prison senior supervisor Agra told toi.
This case was revealed recently after the prisoner moved SC, stating that they were being imprisoned for violating the Justice 2000 law.
The maximum penalty for adolescents was three years.
13 detainees have not taken teenagers’ defenses because of ignorance during the trial where they are punished.
In 2012, Allahabad HC directed the Juvenile Justice Board to determine the age of detention, after 13 were discovered by 13 perpetrators of Juvenile.
On Thursday, SC said 13 must be released immediately at a temporary guarantee.
Advocate Rishi Malhotra, representing the prisoner, said it was “shocking” which despite their court orders were still in prison.
“When the justice process has moved almost entirely online, this order is still sent by post,” he said.
Malhotra said the court registry had told him that the only mode through orders SC sent to the prison concerned was with a speed post.
“The post office in court has said that it will take at least 4-5 days to order Agra,” he said.
For families, this means waiting longer.
Unne Habiba, a sister of one of the prisoners, said they gave up all the hopes of seeing it again.
“My brother has been in prison since 2009 when he was 16 years old.
I don’t believe he will go home,” he said.
