Patna: There was a marginal decline in the number of new Covid-19 cases on Monday with 235 people who tested positive for 95,004 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Officially, three deaths were reported, taking victims to 12,239 in the state.
Even the level of participants witnessed a slight decline on Monday because it was 0.25% against 0.26% the day before.
Of the 235 new cases, the maximum of 48 was reported from Patna, followed by Madhepura (25), Purnia (24), West Champaran (12), Gopalganj (10) and Jamui (10).
Lakhisarai and Sheikhpura did not report any case and the rest of the district reported the case in a single digit while 328 people had recovered in the last 24 hours.
The active case has dropped to 2,354 in Bihar.
Patna on Monday has a slight increase in the number of active cases as 577 people have not recovered.
On Sundays, there are 564 active cases in Patna.
However, most of these active cases are concentrated in urban areas.
Bakhtiyarpur block, even, Maner and Dhanarua have zero active cases.
AIims-Patna on Monday reported four deaths, including three Patna Regency residents.
Among the deceased was a 47-year-old Kankarbagh resident received on January 26 and exhaled his last breath on Monday.
Meanwhile, more than 11.44 Covid-19 crore vaccine doses have been given until Monday night, including more than 6.50 first doses, more than 4.78 crore second dose and more than 5.88 lakh prevention doses.
