“Even though the state government has implemented the GIA system for the 488-university category teacher, it does not provide certain facilities received by other regular teachers who get the GIA salary.
Our teacher must get a pension under the rules of the Benefits of Pension, 1981 and the Seventh Payment Commission Salary , “said the association that worked President Manas Purohit.
He said the department must also provide promotional facilities to the 488-college category teacher.
“Our names must come to the list of cadres.
Some juniors we get a good promotion, but why don’t we? We want a transfer facility like an ordinary teacher.
Why did we serve one college to retire?” He added.
The Association of Convener Aditya Prasad Rath accused the government did not take the steps needed to resolve their problems.
“When we did not get a response from the government, we hit the road on Sunday.
We will do this Dharna at PMG which is lower every Sunday to urge the government to meet our demands,” he added.
