New Delhi: 496 Delhi government school students have qualified for the NEET medical entrance exam this year with 51 of them from one school, according to officials.
Kushal Garg, who secured 700 marks at 720, had pocketed 165th place and also secured a chair at AIIMS.

While 51 students from the Delhi government school in Yamuna Vihar have fulfilled the exam requirements, 28 of the successful candidates from the government school in Paschim Vihar.
Sixteen students from the IP extension school, each of the Loni Road and School Molarband and 14 from the Delhi government school in Rohini have fulfilled the requirements of the national feasibility test (NEET).
Last year, a total of 569 students from the Delhi government school had cleared competitive exams.
More than 15.44 Lakh candidates have emerged for this year’s examination conducted at 3,858 centers in 13 languages.
More than 8.70 Lakh candidates have met the exam requirements.
The NEET-UG exam was held on September 12 with more than 95 percent of registered candidates that appeared for medical entrance examinations.
Single-Shift Paper Near-UG 2021 is a qualifying entrance exam to enter undergraduate courses in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), Dental Surgery (BDS), Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy among others in AIIMS and Jawaharlal Postgraduate Education and Research Institutes (Jipmer), Puducherry.
