Noida / Ghaziabad: Surveillance in Noida has identified 2,033 people with fever, 15,000 children under the age of two years due to immunization and 56,489 people over the age of 45 years who have not received the Covid vaccine.
In the Ghaziabad survey, 2,230 people were found with fever, 5,824 women and 21,579 children under 2 years old due to regular immunization while 86,413 people over 45 years have not received a covid vaccine.
About 10 lakh households in Ghaziabad and the other nine lakh in Noida were covered in surveys for the last 10 days.
While the drive in Noida should end on Thursday, several teams will come out on Friday to cover the remaining households, said a health official.
That’s because routine and covid immunization will be borne in a special drive this month, he added.
In Ghaziabad, around 2,000 teams conducted a survey every day and identified 2,910 people with covid symptoms.
About 1,272 people suffered colds and cough for less than two weeks and 51 others for more than two weeks.
Dr.
RK Gupta, District Supervision Officer, said that remembering a surge in the case of TIFUs Dengue, Malaria, and Scrub, supervision will continue this month.
He said that 12 cases of square fever and five cases of Typhus scrubs have been reported in the district.
