JAIPUR: Four individuals are detained by Rajasthan’s Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for supposedly shooting lakhs of rupees from applicants instead of recruiting at the Centre-run ESIC Medical College and Hospital at Alwar.
Three of those arrested accused are out of a Gujarat-based business who had the contract to its recruitment of nursing staff and many others from the hospital.
“A period of Rs 20 lakh was seized in the possession of the accused, that had been held on Thursday night by Alwar, Ajmer and Jodhpur,” director general (DG), ACB B L Soni stated on Friday.
“The organization, MJ Solanki, located in Gujarat’s Rajkot, gets got the contract to its recruiting of nursing and other employees in the medical faculty and hospital.
Rather than an open recruiting, the organization officials were carrying money in the candidates instead of appointments to the articles of nursing personnel,” that the ACB alleged.
Observing a tip-off, the ACB began collecting information regarding the issue and detained the four individuals, for example, spouse of this company, Manjal Patel.
“Patel was captured with money amounting to Rs 15.5 lakh at Ajmer, although the business manager, Kanaram Chaudhary, also area in-charge Bharat Poonia were held in Alwar with Rs 5 lakh.
A worker of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Jodhpur, Mahipal, was arrested,” that the DG said.
He stated,”that the use of others involved with the recruitment procedure is also being analyzed”
