5 babies were saved from the gang, the police struggled to track relatives

Gurgaon: Five toddlers have been saved from a group of traders who were caught with the help of a wary of taxi drivers in the city a few weeks ago.
But no one advances to claim or adopt these babies, who are in the center of child care in the city.
The police have so far arrested 14 gang members, who were active throughout Delhi-NCR for the past eight years.
Of the five babies saved by the police, four were women.
Gang, police said, would buy a baby from a poor couple who could not lift them.
Baby prices depend on skin color and facial features – fair babies, for example, will cost more than one with dark skin.
After the baby is identified, their images will be circulated among gang members in various countries.
This gang member will, in turn, contact a couple or community without children who raise children for street shows.
Most of these babies will be sold to such a community in Rajasthan, the police said.
The alley trades more baby girls than boys because of his relationship with sex trade racquets, according to the police.
The police said they were trying to track the biological parents of the baby.
