HUBBALLI: The Dharwad district government and Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) are leaving no stone unturned to violate the series of spread of this novel coronavirus. Even the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) has chosen to secure regions where Covid-19 instances are located in massive numbers. It’s sealed five places within Dharwadand contact number of individuals at Hubballi-Dharwad is under procedure. The amount of sealed regions is predicted to grow, also in Hubballi. According to sources from the HDMC, Barakotri, Tejaswi Nagar, Chaitanya Nagar, Malamaddi and Siddheshwar Nagar were closed on Sunday, since Covid-19 instances are on the rise there. Dr Suresh Itnal, commissioner, HDMCsaid that after conducting a talk with all the DC, they’ve opted to seal five regions in Dharwad, in which Covid-19 instances are on the increase. “historically, orders are issued to secure regions where the instances are somewhat more. The entrance and exit of individuals to the regions will be ceased, along with the practice of having the places sanitised and disinfected will likely soon be initiated. The police department was asked to set up forces from the sealed regions, to impose the limitations,” he explained. According to sources from the HDMC, there are now 62 active Covid-19 instances in Siddheshwar Nagar. Formerly, there were barely any instances in the region, and the majority of the instances were at home isolation. Since the patients haven’t followed the house isolation guidelines correctly, it’s resulted in a rise in cases, sources explained. The authorities stated they have changed Covid patients in the region to Covid care centers in Dharwad, and the area has been sealed.
