PUNE: The Pimpri Chinchwad police in Maharashtra’s Pune district on Friday arrested five men for allegedly damaging as many as 13 commercial three-wheelers in Mhatobanagar area.
Kiran Ghadge (25), Chandrakant Gaikwad (22), Mayur Adagale (24), Sagar Ghadge (27) and Avinash Nalawade (21), all from Mhatobanagar, smashed the windscreens of 13 vehicles when Sachin Shelar, the owner of one of the vehicles refused to give them money for buying liquor.
Shelar also alleged that the suspects snatched Rs 600 from him.
“We have arrested the suspects under sections 395 (dacoity) of the Indian Penal Code,” a police officer said.
