Nagpur: City police track and reunite four small girls with their parents, five hours after they escaped from their respective residence on Thursday.
Allegedly disappointed with “people who don’t care” them, girls (an eight-year-old girl, their 11-year-old sister and their neighbors aged 12 and 13) have sneaked out of their homes at the Wathoda and headed to the academic Akola district on Thursday night.
Kops found one of the girls, who was sad when his mother was as if fixed on the cellphone game and ignored it.

The police had difficulty fighting for five hours to track the girls, which returned to their families in front of the City Police Chief (CP) Amitesh Kumar, Police Commissioner with Aswati Dorje and others at the Wathoda Police Station at around 11:30 a.m.

Police Inspector (SR PI) Ashalata Khapre from Wathoda Station, who led the rescue operation under the Deputy Zonal Commissioner of Police (DCP) Akshay Shinde and additional CP Navinchandra Reddy, said four minors belonged to family economically.
SR PI Khapre said, “Two minors had lived in Akot before shifting to Nagpur with their families.
They persuaded their neighbors to come and meet their friends in Akot.
The four girls found general threads to bind each other when They suffered by their parents.
“Khapre added that the girls seemed to have become a stressful victim caused by locking in the family.
He said another girl had changed the thought there last minute to stay safe.
“The family approached the police in 30 minutes and I warned all the city police units, including our seniors,” Khapre said.
The police said the girls left the house somewhere and took an autorickshaw from somewhere.
Near Symbiosis College and reach KDK College near Nandanvan, where one of their relatives stays.
The underage children plan to reach the train station on foot before taking the train, the police added.
After going down from the Autorickshaw, The Foursome stepped into the slums of Nandanvan and then deviated towards Wardhaman Nagar, where they were seen and saved.
The operator and driver of the state transportation bus, the conductor was told.
“We announce RS50,000 cash prizes too,” he added.
Khapre said CCTVs were scanned and the police were sent to the slums of Nandanvan, Tajbagh and every place the girls tended to be found.
“We were lucky to find the same autorickshaw who had transported the girls from the Symbiosis College to KDK.
The police have also advised the authorickshaw driver about not transporting many minors without adults accompanying them,” Khapre added.
SR PI further said that the crime branch unit was also pressed into the ADDL CP Sunil Phultii.
