Coimbatore: City Corporation has formed five medical teams, each consisting of a doctor and a nurse, to treat Covid-19 patients who have isolated themselves at home.
Corporate health officials say each team will be deployed in five zones.
“Team members, wearing PPE kits, will visit Covid-19 patient homes to examine symptoms, oxygen levels, and temperature, and prescribe medicines.
The patient’s status and recommended treatment will be recorded on the computer in the Covid-19 control center Time, “he said.
New from the team, the staff posted in the control room will call patients.
“Staff, supervised by a doctor, will call patients and their family members to examine symptoms and suggest treatment.
Counseling will also be given to those in need,” Health officials added.
Commissioner Corporation Corporation King Gopal Sunkara visited several places in the city on Friday to assess the services provided by the medical team provided by the medical team.
