Noida: The five criminals stole the tractor trolley after offering the driver of a sedative drink – anchored in Greater Noida was arrested, police said on Saturday.
The defendant has been identified as Sher Singh (21), Mahtab (30), Monu Kumar (36), all residents of Auraiya, and Kanhaiya (36) and Shankar Day (27), each of Kanpur and Mathura.
In his complaint in July, Ranpal Bhati vehicle owner, a resident of Kasna, claimed that he got a booking for his tractor trolley from someone by telephone.
The caller allegedly told him that some of the items had to be transported from etcher to the Kasna Greater Noida area.
“I have sent my driver, bright, with a tractor.
Then when I tried to reach the caller, the number was turned off.
I suspect something suspicious and reached the place just to find my driver in the subconscious in Etcher.

“Our probe revealed that the tractor trolley driver was offered aerated drinks mixed with sedatives by the defendant.
They then stole his tractor,” said Sudhir Kumar, Sho of Kasna Police Station.
“The fifth was arrested at a tip-off of their movements in the Kasna area.
Two comignaade pistols, two knives and stolen cellphones were confiscated from their ownership,” Sho said.
The case is below section 328 (causing injuries in a poison) and 379 (theft) IPC registered in the three in the Kasna Police Station.
