BHubaneswar: Five BTECH students from the Kalinga Industrial Technology Institute (Kiit), who are considered universities here, accept work offers with the annual package of Rs 52 lakh during the current placement season.
Resources say the institution has reached a record placement campus with 270-plus companies, Doling Out more than 4,200 job offers for 3,500 BTECH students who qualify from batch graduates 2022.
The average package offered to students is Rs 6 lakh per year , 30% higher than the previous year.
This year, 50 new companies participated in the placement process, which they added more than 3,000 students to get a single placement offer, while the top 1,500 students got jobs at a leading company with the average cost for the company (CTC) from Rs 8.1 lakh per year .
