Agra: The police have arrested five people, who allegedly heard an increase in the slogan ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ in the Viral video arrested during the demonstration of the Jamajwadi Party, officials said on Friday.
The accusations arrested were identified as Pankaj aka Paare, Aarif Khan, Chandra Prakash, Deepak Valmiki and Madhukar Singh – residents of Sultanganj Pulia Locality.
The video posted on social media on Thursday night showed the PANKAJ raised the slogan ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ during the protest against the state government, led by Wajid Nisar, Head of the Agra District of the Samajawadi District (SP).
However, the Nesar broke away from the PANKAJ and asked the police to take action against him.
“When this problem arises in my notification, I provide written applications and demand actions against people involved in anti-national activities,” Nisar said.
Protests are part of the state demonstration by SP against the Uttar Pradesh Government led by BJP.
Then, the PANKAJ released a video and claimed that he only raised the slogan to praise SP Mulakyam Singh leaders and Akhilesh Yadav.
“Why will I increase the slogan ‘Pakistan Zindabad’? I am a Thakur who was born and grew up here (India),” he said.
Botre Rohan Pramod police supervisor said a pine was registered against five accused accused and around 25 unknown people at the Nai Bath police station.
They were ordered under Section 147 (riots), 188 (disobedience to order correctly announced by civil servants), 269 (Lalai action), 270 (malignant actions likely to spread infection), 153 B (statement on national integration), 505 (2), 505 (2)) (creating or promoting hostility, hatred or pain between classes), 120 B (criminal conspiracy) of the Criminal Code and the relevant parts of the epidemic law, the officer said.
He said the effort to ensure the remaining identity of the defendant.
