Garhwa: Five people were killed and someone was injured on Thursday when two motorcycles collided directly in the Jharkhand District of Garhwa, police said.
The accident occurred at around 10:30 a.m.
in SIJO, more at the National Highway 343, said a senior officer.
Three people died on the spot after two motorbikes collided directly, while the other two were taken to the hospital where they were declared dead, said the police officer upadhyay said responsibly.
The injured person has been received at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi, he said.
The deceased and injured were not identified, the officer said.
“Investigations have begun and efforts to identify victims,” Upadhyay added.
