50 Bovines saved, 1 smugglers arrested at Rajasthan

Jaipur: In another clash with the alleged cow smuggler, Bharatpur police managed to save 50 cows and arrested one person to smuggle cattle on Saturday night from the Roopwas area.
Finding themselves surrounded by the Bharatpur Police Quick Response Team, smugglers shooting fire.
While two were accused of escaping, one was arrested.
According to the police, they have a special input that some cow smuggles from the Roopwas area carry a cow to Bharatpur.

But, cattle smugglers continue to speed up the vehicle,” said a senior police officer Bharatpur.

When the QRT team chased smugglers, they opened fire nearly overbridge but missed the target and the police team was not hurt.
In return, QRT opened fire on the air.
“After the driver lost control of the truck that hit a tree.
One of the smugglers was injured while the other two managed to escape leaving a truck containing 50 cows,” the officer added.
All cows are sent to Cowshed nearby.
“It seems that smugglers have planned to take cows to the Melat area at Haryana from Bharatpur.
We questioned a smuggler while all cows had been transferred safely to a cage,” the officer said.
“Bharatpur is a transit route for smugglers to smuggle cattle from Rajasthan to Haryana and from Rajasthan to Uttar Pradesh.
This is the reason why we have mobilized QRT to avoid this crime in this region,” the officer added.
