Gurugram: To monitor the movement of vehicles at night and check the person who arranged a late night party, Gurugram police have formed 50 teams ahead of the future new year celebrations.
Gurugram police traffic wings will have 11 special teams to check the movement of the vehicle at night.
The team will be deployed in the city all borders with Delhi and other neighboring districts.
The remaining 39 teams will keep reconnaissance and party hubs such as sectors 29, cyber centers, golf roads, congregations and mg roads among others.
Every police station will have a team to keep an eye on restaurants, hotels, pubs, bars and farmhouses.
All new year functions have been canceled after the curfew announced by the state government on Friday.
“The team has been deployed onmain stretching and at a large intersection and on the road connected with other districts,” said DCP (traffic) Ravinder Singh Tomar, added that because the curfew was announced, there were restrictions on traffic movements and people.
The police also added that they had received complaints from several residential areas where the parties were arranged until late at night.
“We got about three or more complaints every night and most of the complaints were loud music and party noise,” he said.
The team has been asked to keep guarding near all party clubs and pages where people make reservations for the previous party but must cancel after the curfew order was released by the state on Friday.
The Haryana government on Friday issued a fresh alert ‘Mahamari Surakhit’ in the entire state.
