Mumbai: Council of Omicron cases in Maharashtra crosses 500 mark on Sunday with an additional 50 infections.
The state until now reports 510 confirmed cases from a rapidly spread variant.
Thirty-six new cases reported from Pune, eight of the Pimpri-Chinchwad, each of which was rustic and Sangli, and each of Thane and Mumbai.
From the cumulative calculation of 510, the highest, 328, it has been reported from Mumbai, followed by Pune, which has seen nearly 110 cases.
Civil officials said that Mumbai’s number included 76 people who landed at the international airport and were found positively.
State officials said that from the total Omicron case, 193 had run out.
In Mumbai, civilian civilians said that of 130 international travelers, 128 had been thrown up until now.
The rest, who recover in hospitals, have no severe illness.
In Navi Mumbai, who has 10 cases of omicron so far, the authorities say they have found the spread of the variant community.
They said that recently six people have tested the positive Omicron but do not have a history of travel, which indicates the spread of the community.
According to NMMC officials, all 10 cases of omicron so far are asymptomatic.
