50 pools are cleaned, the bigger Civic Noida body targets 94 more in October

Greater Noida: The authority of the construction of the Great Noida Industry (Gnida) has set a 144 pool cleaning target in 119 villages for the next two months.
Officials said different work circles were asked to speed up the work of cleaning water bodies under the region.
About 50 pools have been cleaned so far, while others are expected to be cleaned in October.
Some villages where the pool has been cleaned is MiK Lachhi, Roza Jalalpur, Roza Yakubpur, Achheja, Chhapraula, Shahberi, Chipiyana Buzurg, Badalpur, Sadhopur, Dhoom Manikpur and so on.
“We have started cleaning the pool in several villages in Greater Noida.
For this, the team has formed under a different circle of work and they carry out work.
The two-month deadline has been given for the work to be completed.
Just like our housing sector, we aim at To make our village smart and clean too, “said Narendra Bhoooshan, Gnida CEO.
Cleaning work includes removing mud, weeds, plants and garbage along the side of the water body.
“Because of cleaning the pool, the water harvesting also gets a boost.
It will also increase the surface of the ground in the villages in addition to increasing the overall beauty of the area,” Rajkumar said, residents of Rupwas Village.
Uday Dragon from Dhoom Manikpur said that as part of a hygiene project, the trash can has also been stored along the side of the pool to ensure people do not throw garbage.
“This is a welcome step.
People are told to throw garbage only in the trash instead of littering,” he added.
