December 16 marked the 50th anniversary of the Indian Armed Forces victory in the Indo-Pak War 1971.
The troops celebrated the opportunity with a large celebration called Vijay Parv at the Indian gate next week.

As a precursor of the Vijay Parv celebration this weekend, Gorkha Regiment of the Indian Army organizes small shows featuring shows and weapons exhibitions at Cyberhub Gurgaon.
The event saw Calaripayattu’s martial arts and dance performances by soldiers who drew loudly from the crowd.

The spotlight that night was Khukri’s dance performance by the soldiers.
“This event is done to make people aware of celebrations.
Greater event with many more offered will be held at the Indian gate from December 10 and so on,” said Nelson Major, who was involved in arranging the event.
The Indian Army Weapon on display at the Gurgaon event, the 1971 Indo-Pak conflict ended on December 16, which has since been celebrated as Vijay Diawas.
With this year it marked the 50th anniversary of victory, the armed forces had increased the celebration in the form of Vijay Parv.
For four days, the event will see the appearance of martial arts, sound, and light shows, the appearance of weapons and dog shows among other things.
