New Delhi: Delhi Jal Board Deputy Chair and AAP MLA Raghav Chaddha inaugurated the reverse osmosis plant (RO) in two schools, located in Inderpuri and Narina, on Sundays.
“This RO plant has the capacity to purify and issue 500 liters of water every hour, which will bring new hopes for students, teachers and non-teaching staff in both schools.
There will be around 11,000 individuals, who will benefit from plants at school every day , “Chadha said.
“Ensuring the health and cleanliness of small children will be very important when the school reverses postpartums.
The implementation of RO water factory is a small but significant step in the same direction that aims to help students, teachers and other staff to get access to clean drinking water and Safe, “he said.
RO plants work in a model where 60% is drinking water and 40% waste water, which are then used for rain harvest holes.
“I always state that it is our duty to ensure that all residents of the constituency I have access to clean drinking water and all other basic needs,” said Rajinder Nagar Mla.
Chadha said this initiative is an example of a public private partnership where the corporate social responsibility kicks the welfare of people with assistance from the state government.
“Tata power-DDL has installed 83 RO plants to date at educational institutions, JJ clusters and metro stations, serving 3.78 lakh people every day,” he added.
