PATNA: In opinion of Covid-19 promising the lives of both 227 railroad employees along with their kin in the past 1 month, the East Central Railway (ECR) has booted up to vaccinate most of the remaining personnel whenever possible. While tracking the Treaty push Tuesday, the overall director of the ECR, L C Trivedi, requested all of the railroad employees, especially the frontline employees, for themselves helplessly. “Vaccination is the only means to maintain the virus ,” he explained. Almost 5,500 ECR workers have tested positive for Covid-19 throughout the next wave of the outbreak. ECR’s main public relations officer Rajesh Kumar informed this reporter,”Of those 81,635 workers working in five divisions of their zone, nearly 50,000 were vaccinated up to now.” He also added,”mathematically 1,313 personnel working in the ECR headquarters at Hajipur, 6,688 below Danapur department, 8,665 beneath Samastipur branch, 9,505 beneath Sonepur branch, 8,227 beneath Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya department, also 12,589 beneath Dhanbad branch have been inoculated. Moreover, 2,083 of those 3,770 workers working in different railroad workshops also have got their vaccine shots” The vaccination drive for individuals belonging to the 18+ age category is to pick up the speed in railroad hospitals. Chief medical manager of the ECR’s superspecialty hospital at Karbigahiya, Dr R K Verma, maintained,”The variety of individuals, that have got themselves enrolled below this age category, is extremely high, however we’re to get vaccines in the authorities.” Dr P K Mishra of this Danapur railroad, on the other hand, stated,”We’ve vaccinated the frontline employees belonging to the 18+ age category.
