Patna: Banking services throughout the country will stop on Thursday and Friday after a national attack by bank employees in response to calls from various trade unions and bank associations under the banner of Union Union Bank Union (UFBU)) to protest the proposed privatization of two banks Public sector.
At least 7,111 branches of private and public sector banks will remain closed for two days throughout the country, because around 50,000 employees and bank officers will continue to strike, according to the Bank’s Federation (BEIF).

Sanjay Kumar Singh, Conventor of UFBU State and Secretary General of the Association of SBI officers, said the protest would oppose the privatization of public sector banks and to make the general public conscious of bank workers to strike due to the adverse effects of bank privatization.
“Public money for public welfare and it should not be transferred to personal hands.

All bank employee associations in the state have agreed to join protests.
