50k youth to benefit from the course made by BLW

Varanasi: Rail Curriculum Kaushal Vikas Yojana (RKVY), which was launched by the Minister of Railway, Communication, Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw at Rail Bhavan, New Delhi on Friday, has been developed by The Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW).
, Varanasi-based production unit from the Indian train which will also record the assessment and maintain a centralized database of the participants.
The program is under the Aegis of the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKvy), the scheme of the Ministry of Skills & Entrepreneurship Development (MSDE) to achieve the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Chairperson & CEO of Sunete Sharma Train Board, Additional Members / Human Resources Alka Arora Misra, and all Indian Railways General Managers joined this online launch event.
BLW General Manager Anjali Goyal said that BLW had been entrusted as a nodal body for RKVY.
In his speech, he thanked the train minister to give his approval to launch this scheme.
Overcoming virtual events, Vaishnaw said that training would be given to 50,000 candidates for three years.
Initially, training will be given to 1,000 candidates.
A total of 75 train training institutions spread throughout the country, including the Blw Technical Training Center, has been chosen to provide training.
The vision of skills development is an integral part of the vision of the prime minister and 50,000 youths will be trained under the Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana.
The purpose of this initiative is to provide training skills to young people in various trade to bring qualitative increase.
It was also emphasized that training in remote areas to be carried out under Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana.
Training will be provided in four trade, including electric workers, welders, engine machines and fit and will consist of basic 100 hour basic training.
Training programs in other trading will be added by the train zone and production units based on regional demands and needs assessments.
Training must be given for free and participants will be selected from the application received online, following the transparent mechanism based on the sign in the matriculation.
The 10 candidates passed and between 18-35 years must be eligible to register.
However, participants in the scheme will not have claims to find work by train based on this training.
This scheme was launched for 1,000 participants at first and will end and above the training given to the Internships under the ACT AWT 1961.
The Nodal website is being developed as a single source of information about the programs offered, the list of selected candidates, election results, Final assessment, study material and other details.
At present, applicants may apply in purpose of response to advertisements issued locally in the initial phase.
Submission of online applications will soon be opened on centralized websites.
Trainees will be asked to undergo a standard assessment and will be given a certificate in the trade allocated by the National Rail & Transport Institute, after the conclusions of their program.
They will also be given relevant toolkits with their trade that will help these trainees utilize their learning and increase their capacity to entrepreneurship and work ability in various industries.
This scheme will not only improve the ability of young people but also improve self-employed skills and those who work with contractors through reskilling and excellence and contribute to the skills of the Indian mission.
