50L Get fully vaccinated, more than 2.8Cr Take a dose 1

Lucknow: With more than 8.38 lakh vaccination on Monday, a total of 50.09 lakh people at Uttar Pradesh became fully vaccinated against the Pandemic virus.
Data from the Cowin Portal shows that more than 3.35 doses of crore from the Covid-19 vaccine have been given at Uttar Pradesh.
In terms of people, 2,84,51,525 has taken at least one dose, while 50.09.188 has taken both doses.
In the absolute term, of the total advanced people for vaccination above, 14.9% have taken both of these doses.
However, compared to the total target vaccination for the country – around 14 crores – only 3.5% vaccinated.
UP is the fourth country in the country where more than 50 lakh people have taken a dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
Comparison drawn by the Union of the Ministry of Health and family welfare shows that Maharashtra led the list with a completely vaccinated 69.85 lakh population, followed by Gujarat and West Bengal where more than 60.8 lakh and 56.7 lakh each person took second dose.
The closest competitor is Rajasthan where 43.84 lakh people are fully immunized.
Karnataka stands close to a fully vaccinated population of 42.18 lakh.
Vaccination surge is associated with the launch of the cluster model throughout the state for the Covid-19 vaccination drive which has made its duties easy, fair and smooth by eliminating important road blocks such as transportation and digital divide.
In accordance with the Cowin portal, 8.38 lakh Jabs on Monday is the second highest in one day given in the state.
The maximum number of doses – 8.63 lakh – given on June 24 – that day reached one Jab Crore under the mission of June six days before the deadline.
Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Welfare Family, Amit Mohan Prasad said: “The cluster model has been launched throughout the state and there is an enthusiasm seen for vaccination now.
However, the important thing to remember is that the vaccine does not provide a license to ignore Covid-19 behavior appropriate.
