Varanasi: While 512 people were tested positive for Coronavirus infection, 539 patients were declared recovered in the Varanasi district on Saturday.
Among patients who healed, 530 were in house isolation and nine were at hospital facilities.
According to a daily medical bulletin, with new cases Covid-19 districts currently have 3,854 active cases.
Moderate increase was considered in the calculation of active cases, namely 3,881 on Friday.
The test results of 5,220 samples were received, while 5,875 samples were collected for testing in the district on Saturday.
In the Chandauli district, 80 people included 34 women and eight children tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday, increasing the calculation of active cases to 556.
However, 48 patients were declared cured.
A sample of 1,720 people was collected for testing in Chandauli.
Jaunpur Regency also reported 68 new cases of koronavirus infection on Saturday, increasing the number of active cases to 513.
However, 51 patients including 50 in isolation of houses and one in hospital facilities were declared cured in Jaunpur.
In the Ballia district, 73 people were tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday.
Previously, the Sonbhadra district reported 113 new cases of Koronavirus infection on Friday, increasing the number of active cases of Covid-19 to 580.
However, 73 patients were declared recovered in the district.
