Greater Noida: A total of 52 candidates have escaped from a nomination for the three assembly of Noida, Dadri and Shares, where polls are scheduled for February 10, 23 candidates, will contest from Noida, while the constituency of Dadri and the Shares will see 16 and 13 candidates for the battle .
Judge Hakim Suhas Ly, also election officers, said some candidates had submitted several nominations to ensure there was nothing wrong.
“Even though 52 candidates will oppose the election, our office has received 97 different sets of nomination papers.
A number of candidates have sent several forms of nominations only to ensure all fields and correct fields and their nominations are accepted,” he said.
Vandita Srivastava District Judge (Finance and Income), Nodal Officer for this election in this district, will examine the nomination form and release the final list on the night of January 24.
“In terms of information or mandated details, the form will be rejected.
What remains will compete,” said Srivastava.
After the list released, candidates who want to pull out of Fray will have time until January 27 to make the final decision.
The actual number of candidates will only be known after that.
Meanwhile, placing speculation to rest, Rashtriya Lok Dal candidate from the repair, Avtar Singh Bhadana, submitted nominated letters on Friday morning.
Bhadana, RLD and SP coalition candidates, will fight Sitting BJP Mla Dhirendra Singh.
