52 countries help India during the second wave of Pandemic Covid-19: Center

New Delhi: A total of 52 developed countries to help India when the country was hit by the second wave of Covid-19, the government said on Thursday.

Muraleedharan said that during the unprecedented crisis, the international community advanced with sales of solidarity and assistance for drugs and certain equipment which was not immediately available in this country.
He said that foreign material from 52 countries had been accepted to date including the government to the government, the private sector for the government, the private sector for the association and community and company companies.
“Donations are cleaned through inter-minister committees that include representatives from the Ministry of Health, MEA, Niti Aayog, DPIIT, MHA, MOHFW, etc.,” Minister said.
Providing detailed assistance received, the Minister said India received 27,116 oxygen cylinders, 29,327 oxygen concentrators, 48 ​​PSA oxygen plants and 19,375 ventilators from 52 foreign countries during the second Covid-19 wave.
The government also received 33.30,187 favipirail, 11.06,940 remdesivers, 5,10,245 tovilizumab from foreign countries.
A total of 19,88,985 diagnostic kits were quickly accepted during Covid waves.
In February, when India got Covid-19 under the control of the top of the first wave of last year, the second wave of the victory hit the country with existing health infrastructure could not overcome the increase in cases.
On the ground, it is a heartbreaking tragedy.
Throughout the country, hospitals run out of basic medical supplies and many patients die from lack of oxygen.
Family members are driving from the clinic to the clinic, panicking looking for ICU beds.

The government then sought assistance from the international community for oxygen supply.
The Indian Air Force transportation aircraft pressed into services, Indian Indian warships were sent to friendly countries to get medical needs needed by time.
Finally, the government began to apply all efforts to control the situation.
And in June, the situation began to improve with the number of cases that dropped.
