Mangaluru Card: Modus Operandi Bureau (MOB) against 528 people has been closed by Mangaluru police as part of reform activities.
On Monday, the City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar said the decision to close the car card was taken after reviewing the database in the past two months.
Until December 2021, the police database had 3,284 car cards.
From the mass cards closed, 29 people over 65 years old, 59 have died and 14 cannot.
Also, 37 people did not commit violations of them in the last 25 years, 43 were not involved in any violations in the past 20 years, he added.
