Patna: The 54-year-old PDS dealer and a local BJP activist from Block Goriyakothi in Siwan District, Janardhan Singh, was shot dead by two unknown criminals at his home in Sultanpur-Khurd Village under the Jamho Police Station area on Wednesday morning.
Immediately after the incident he rushed to a conscious hospital by the locals where he referred him to PMCH.
He died on his way to Patna.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 10am on Wednesday when one of the attackers broke into the place of Singh’s housing, when he sat outside.
Criminal shot him many times and escaped on a motorcycle with his accomplice.
The victim sustained three bullet injuries, one on the chest and two on his thighs and his stomach.
The incident video was captured by the local where the two attackers were seen escaping from the place.
The criminals fled on their motorbikes to shoot in the air to scare people, when some locals tried to stop them.
Videos won viral on social media, immediately after the incident.
JAMHO Police Station Sho Dhruv Prasad Singh said that the killer identity was not identified.
“With the help of downloading videos, we tried to identify criminals and reasons of murder.
The police are raiding to arrest criminals and further actions will be taken on the statement of the victim’s family,” Sho added.
The deceased family member accused the dispute of property with their neighbors could be the reason behind Singh’s murder.
