Administrative senior officials and the police reached the hospital where family members held a sit-in and convinced them to close action to guilty after they received a postmortem report.
On July 21, Ashok Kumar, the son of the victim Bahraichi Prasad, allegedly married to run with a village girl.
The girl’s family filed a police complaint against her but a case was not registered.
