Ghaziabad: A 55-year-old man was found killed in the Faridnagar area of Bhojpur on Saturday morning.
According to the police, his body was found lying in the field by several villagers.
The deceased was identifield as a merajdin captured in a murder case that occurred in 2019 in Bhojpur.
He had come out with a guarantee a few months ago.
The police suspected that merajdin was first kidnapped and then suffocated.
“On Saturday, we got a call that an unknown body lay in the fields in the Faridnagar Bhojpur area.
When the police reached the place, they found that his legs were bound and there were signs of injury in his neck,” said Iraj Raja, SP (rustic) , “The villagers who first saw the body could not identify him but a few hours later he was identified as merajdin.
He was arrested in 2019 in the case of murder and out on a guarantee.
There seems to be a personal hostility behind the murder,” SP added.
A FIR has been submitted under the IPC 302 (murder) section.
