569 New Covid Cases, 4 Deaths in Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 569 new Covid-19 cases and 4 deaths on Saturday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 8,582.
The total number of cases from the beginning of the pandemic last year stood at 6.48,957 and the death toll was at 3,823.
The number of active detention zones in this country stands at 29.
Apart from two detention zones in Hyderabad, Jagiyal and Karimnagar have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
A total of 657 patients were declared recovered on Saturday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.36,552.
Case Fatality Rate (CFR) stands at 0.58% while the recovery rate is at 98.08%.
So far 79.8% of the overall cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2% have been symptomatic.
On Saturday, 1.05.201 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed the testing of 2.27 crore samples and has reached 6.11 lakh testing sample per million populations.
GHMC recorded 82 cases on Saturday, while Medchal Malkajgiri adjacent to 33 cases, Rangeddy recorded 27 cases and turned out to record nine cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar, Jangaon, Peddapalli, Yadadri Bhongir, Warangal Urban and Khammam see more cases.
