Rajkot: A 35-year-old woman from Umrala Taluka from the Bhavnagar district surrendered to Covid infection on Tuesday.
A total of 57 people tested positive in Rajkot Regency on Tuesday 36 came from the city.
Positive cases include three small girls aged eight, 12 and 13 years old and two boys aged nine and 17 years old.
The areas in the city where people were tested positively including Panchnath plots, Saurashtra Kendra, Raiya Road, century Alap, Patel Park, Kalavad Road, Gopal Chowk and Morbi Road.
At present, 271 people are in treatment.
In the Rajkot district, 21 people were tested positively, while 16 of them came from Dhoraji Taluka.
A total of 23 people were positively tested in Jamnagar Regency and 22 in Bhavnagar, while Kutch recorded 37 new cases.
