Dharwad: Positive Covid-19 case continues to surge in the Dharwad district.
Until January 17, the number of active cases in the district stood at 3,146, including 587 children.
From active cases, 2,961 infected people are in isolation of houses and getting drugs through telemedicine facilities.
The district government has arranged 3,137 beds in government and private hospitals.
But only 142 beds have been occupied.
It is separate, 250 additional beds have been arranged at the Covid Care Center and 46 people undergoing treatment here, according to press releases issued by the district administration.
