Lucknow: Fifty-nine more people are tested positive for Covid-19 in Uttar Pradesh, bringing infections that are counted to 17.07.502 on Tuesday, while the death toll rises to 22,704 with four fresh deaths, said a health bulletin.
The last death was reported from Gorklahpur, Unnao, Auraiya and Lalitpur, he said.
In the last 24 hours, a maximum of eight new cases reported from Lucknow.
The total number of recovery in this country has reached 16,83,319, the bulletin issued here, adding the number of active cases at Uttar Pradesh stand at 1.459.
So far, more than 6.10 crore samples have been tested for Covid-19 in the state, including 2.35 lakh tested the previous day, said the bulletin Tuesday.
