Rajkot: Three Shipping Boys and one warehouse employee who worked with one of the largest online retailers in India was arrested for stealing a cellphone worth almost RS 5 Lakh in Junagadh City on Monday.
The delivery boy arrested is Raj Prajapati (20), Bhargav Ahir (20), Bhargav Ahir (20) and Kishore Vanvi (43).
The person who was arrested again Ibrahim Gamei (29) was assigned to sorting in Godown from an online retailer located in the Seven Seven Complex.
The cellphone was stolen last year from October 30 to December 12, police said.
After the company filed a complaint, as many as 45 delivery boys were questionable and the police narrowed the three.
They claimed to steal cellphones and sell them with half their prices to the owner of the local showroom, said H i Bhati, Police Inspector, Local Crime Branch Junagadh (LCB).
