Jakarta: The earthquake with the magnitude of 6.2 gasped in North Sulawesi Province in the middle of Indonesia on Saturday, but not potential for the tsunami, said the meteorological and geophysics institutions here.
The earthquake hit at 7.43 in the morning (local time), with the epicenter at 112 km southwest of Melonguane, the District Talaud Islands and a depth of 10 km below the sea floor.
